In Friday's non-league outing, the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC) basketball squad edged the visiting Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC), by a margin of 40-38.

The Highlanders (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Spartanburg Day (Spartanburg, SC). The Griffins come into the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Spartanburg Day was edged by Hammond (Columbia, SC), 61-56, in a non-league bout.
