Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Glenelg Country Dragons (Ellicott City, MD) and the host McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), saw Glenelg Country's basketball squad knock off McDonogh by a tally of 60-44.

With the victory, Glenelg Country improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Grace Brethren Christian (Clinton, MD) to play the in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Grace Brethren Christian lost 71-62 in their recent non-league challenge against St. John's (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. McDonogh will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD).
