The Wellington Wolverines basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Royal Palm Beach Wildcats to 37 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hill for a 7A District 8 contest on Wednesday, December 21. Wellington will battle a Falcons team coming off a 72-69 non-league loss to Santaluces (Lantana, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 3-5.

The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Palm Beach Gardens (Palm Beach Gardens, FL). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Palm Beach Gardens was routed by Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), 73-21, in a non-league contest.
