Texas High School Basketball - Olton routs Smyer
December 16, 2022: Olton, TX 79064 In Friday's league outing, the Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Smyer Bobcats (Smyer, TX), by a margin of 54-32.
The Mustangs (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Hale Center (Hale Center, TX). The Owls go into the 2A Region I District 4 outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Hale Center smashed Ralls (Ralls, TX), 49-36, in a league outing.
The Bobcats now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lockney for a 2A Region I District 4 outing on Tuesday, December 20. Smyer will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 55-47 league win over New Deal (New Deal, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 14-5.
