Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge can't hold off St. Petersburg

The St. Petersburg Green Devils basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights to 54 in the Green Devils non-league victory on Friday.

The Green Devils now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Countryside for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 28.

The Royal Knights (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC). The Riptide come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Charleston Math & Science was nudged by Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC), 107-17, in a league contest.
