California High School Basketball - Foothill crushes Castro Valley
December 16, 2023: Castro Valley, CA 94546 Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), 50-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cougars host University Prep (Redding, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. University Prep lost 50-48 in their recent non-league bout against Arcata (Arcata, CA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Castro Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 68-56 non-league win over Fremont (Oakland, CA).
