December 16, 2023: Kyle, SD 57752 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marty Indian Braves (Marty, SD) and the host Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD), saw Marty Indian's basketball squad hold off Little Wound by a count of 74-68.
With the victory, Marty Indian upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Braves host Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD) to play the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Crazy Horse won 75-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Red Cloud Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) in a A Region 7 challenge, on Monday, January 15. Little Wound will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
