The Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) basketball nipped the host Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins (Fort Wayne, IN), 52-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Stars (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Lake Central got by Crown Point (Crown Point, IN), 57-41, in a league test.
