Lake Minneola Hawks (Minneola, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ), 61-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Minneola upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Hawks host Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Bishop Moore lost 65-61 in their recent non-league bout against Windermere Prep (Windermere, FL)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Sunday, December 17. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 49-31 non-league win over Franklin (Somerset, NJ).
