North Carolina High School Basketball - United Faith Christian Academy tipped by South Mecklenburg

The South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored 53 points and held the host United Faith Christian Academy Falcons to 52 in the Sabres non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Sabres now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. South Mecklenburg will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 43-35 non-league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-5.

The Falcons (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, South Gwinnett nudged Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA), 69-39, in a non-league contest.
