The East Valley Athletes for Christ Eagles (Mesa, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Heritage Academy Gateway Heroes (Queen Creek, AZ), 67-38 in Monday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Pointe for a Canyon Division 3 - Sahuaro bout on Tuesday, December 17. East Valley Athletes for Christ will play a Griffins team coming off a 79-45 non-league loss to Premier Prep- PHHoenix (Phoenix, AZ). The Griffins record now stands at 5-1.
