Arkansas High School Basketball - Hector defeats South Side
December 16, 2024: Hector, AR 72843 The Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR) basketball were winner over the visiting South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR), 81-63 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Nemo Vista for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Hector will play a Red Hawks team coming off a 69-58 league loss to Wonderview (Hattieville, AR). The Red Hawks record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, South Side falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Hornet host Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR) to play the Warhawks in a 2A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Mt. Vernon-Enola won 67-40 in their recent league bout against Quitman (Quitman, AR)
