Tennessee High School Basketball - Jackson County overwhelms Trousdale County
December 16, 2024: Gainesboro, TN 38562 The Jackson County Blue Devils basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Trousdale County Yellowjackets to 44 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Monday.
The Blue Devils now have a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Haines City for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Jackson County will confront a Hornets team coming off a 75-61 non-league loss to Liberty (Kissimmee, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Trousdale County falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-1. Gordonsville won 62-47 in their recent non-league game against Smith County (Carthage, TN)
