In Monday's non-league test, the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), by a score of 29-28.

Next, the Blue Comets encounter the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 18. Asheboro will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 11-2 record after their 53-28 non-league win over Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).

The Patriots (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Union Pines held off Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 53-31, in a league test.
