The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting South Adams Starfires to 23 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Monday.

The Golden Bears now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lapel for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Monroe Central will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, South Adams falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Starfires host Jay County (Portland, IN) to confront the Patriots in a Allen County game on Saturday, December 21. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 5-5.
