In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Service Cougars basketball team scored a good 61-44 triumph over the Lathrop Malemutes.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Thunder Mountain Falcons (Juneau, AK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 3. Service will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
