Washington High School Basketball - Shorecrest falls to Mount Vernon
December 17, 2022: Mount Vernon, WA 98273 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Mount Vernon Bulldogs basketball squad scored a nice 61-50 victory over the Shorecrest Scots.
With the victory, Mount Vernon upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to play the Cougars in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Lakewood lost 63-59 in their recent league challenge against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)
Next up, the Scots play the Glacier Peak Grizzlies (Snohomish, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Shorecrest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
