In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting New Milford Green Wave basketball team scored a good 44-31 triumph over the Valley Regional Warriors.

In their next game, the Green Wave meet the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest match, on Friday, December 23. New Milford will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, Valley Regional moves to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT) to meet the Bellringers in a Shoreline match on Wednesday, December 21. The Bellringers enter the match with a record of 1-0. East Hampton won 58-52 in their recent league match against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT)
