December 17, 2024: El Paso, TX 79905 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) and the host Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX), observed Chapin's basketball team overwhelm Bowie by a margin of 90-39.
The Huskies (16-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Hanks trounced Parkland (El Paso, TX), 50-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bears battle the Tornillo Coyotes (Tornillo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 20. Bowie will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 55-51 non-league win over Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX).
