Texas High School Basketball - Lovelady overwhelms Corrigan-Camden
December 17, 2024: Lovelady, TX 75851 The Lovelady Lions basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs to 26 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Slocum for a non-league game on Friday, December 20. Lovelady will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 89-27 league win over Trinidad (Trinidad, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-8.
With the loss, Corrigan-Camden falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hemphill (Hemphill, TX) to confront the Hornets in a 2A Region III District 24 game on Friday, December 20. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 6-9. Hemphill lost 57-45 in their recent non-league game against Evadale (Evadale, TX)
