The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), observed East Mecklenburg's basketball team overwhelm Rocky River by a margin of 72-47.

The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Garinger (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats come into the 4A Southwestern challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Garinger was trounced by Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC), 66-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Ravens battle the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Rocky River will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record.
