South Carolina High School Basketball - St. James nips West Florence
December 17, 2024: Florence, SC 29501 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) and the host West Florence Knights (Florence, SC), observed St. James's basketball team edge West Florence by a margin of 48-45.
The Sharks (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Alexander edged East Paulding (Dallas, GA), 58-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 3. West Florence will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
