Florida High School Basketball - Crystal River routs Central

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Crystal River Pirates basketball team scored a big 52-14 triumph over the Central Bears.

The Pirates (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Weir (Ocala, FL). The Hurricanes go into the 4A District 5 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Lake Weir was trounced by North Marion (Citra, FL), 51-21, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers (Land O' Lakes, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Central will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Archers go into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 42-6 non-league loss to Citrus (Inverness, FL).
