December 18, 2023: Bangor, PA 18013 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA) and the visiting Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), saw Bangor's basketball squad overcome Saucon Valley by a tally of 44-33.
With the victory, Bangor improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Slaters travel to Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA) to confront the Green Knights in a Colonial - East challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Green Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Pen Argyl lost 58-24 in their recent league challenge against Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA) in a Colonial - East challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Saucon Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 44-39 non-league loss to Antietam (Reading, PA).
