Herrin Tigers (Herrin, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Meridian Bobcats (Mounds, IL), 64-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Herrin upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Vienna (Vienna, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Vienna lost 55-49 in their recent non-league bout against Carterville (Carterville, IL)

Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Meridian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
