In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Lehighton Indians basketball team scored a big 80-55 triumph over the Palisades Pirates.

The Indians (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA). The Olympians go into the Freelance contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Jim Thorpe was trounced by Palmerton (Palmerton, PA), 49-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Palisades will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
