The Huntingtown Hurricanes were victorious over the visiting McDonough Rams basketball squad by a final score of 53-45 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Takoma Academy Tigers (Takoma Park, MD) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 6. Huntingtown will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 3-2 record after their 56-33 league win over Calverton (Huntingtown, MD).

The Rams (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers enter the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Calvert was defeated by Northern (Owings, MD), 48-25, in a league outing.
