Alabama High School Basketball - Homewood fells Austin
December 19, 2022: Homewood, AL 35209 Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), 61-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Homewood upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Patriots host Childersburg (Childersburg, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Childersburg won 62-29 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, AL)
Next up, the Black Bears play the Grissom Tigers (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 57-39 league loss to Albertville (Albertville, AL).
