The Bishop England Battling Bishops basketball team (Charleston, SC), was nudged 67-65 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Battery Creek Dolphins (Beaufort, SC)

The Dolphins now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampton County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 22. Battery Creek will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 57-39 non-league win over Riverpointe Christian Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 9-2.

The Battling Bishops (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Bell County edged Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN), 80-38, in a non-league battle.
