The Arete Prep CHARGERS defeated the host Highland Prep West HORNETS basketball squad by a final score of 69-49 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the CHARGERS clash with the Madison Highland Prep Heat (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Arete Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Heat come into the outing with a 7-1 record after their 51-48 non-league win over Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ).

The HORNETS (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ). The Tigers come into the 2A West outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Kingman Academy overcame Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ), 51-49, in a league outing.
