Virginia High School Basketball - Heritage fells Briar Woods

December 19, 2024: Leesburg, VA 20175

The Heritage Pride basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Briar Woods Falcons to 41 in the Pride non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pride now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Heritage will confront a Bruins team coming off a 53-44 league loss to South County (Lorton, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Briar Woods falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 2-8. King Abdullah Academy won 91-45 in their recent league game against Quantico (Quantico, VA)
