In Thursday's non-league contest, the host New Covenant Gryphons basketball team scored a big 68-34 win over the Grove Christian School Falcons.

The Gryphons (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Southampton Academy smashed Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 68-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6.
