North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy routs Montgomery Central

December 19, 2024: Troy, NC 27371

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored a big 65-32 triumph over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves.

The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Pageland, SC). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Central smashed Anson (Wadesboro, NC), 70-63, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 26. Montgomery Central will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 87-47 non-league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).
