December 19, 2024: Coalfield, TN 37719 The Coalfield Yellow Jackets (Coalfield, TN) basketball were winner over the visiting Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), 50-42 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Yellow Jackets now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Powell for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Coalfield will play a Panthers team coming off a 47-39 non-league loss to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Cloudland falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Oakdale (Oakdale, TN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-3.
