The Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Carson Senators to 18 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lowry for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Spanish Springs will confront a Buckaroos team coming off a 58-7 non-league win over North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Carson falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Senators host Reno (Reno, NV) to confront the Huskies in a game on Friday, December 20. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 1-4. Reno lost 23-18 in their recent league game against Douglas (Minden, NV)
