Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), 61-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Neshoba Central upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Rockets host New Hope (Columbus, MS) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-3. New Hope lost 74-38 in their recent non-league bout against Starkville (Starkville, MS)

Next up, the Pirates play the Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Pearl will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Arrows go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 63-58 non-league win over Raymond (Raymond, MS).
