The McKeel Academy Wildcats basketball team (Lakeland, FL), was overwhelmed 56-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL)

The Spartans now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avon Park for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL). The Thunder come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Lake Region was overwhelmed by DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL), 56-55, in a non-league battle.
