December 2, 2023: Norfolk, NE 68701 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE) and the visiting Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays (West Point, NE), saw Lutheran-Northeast's basketball squad hold off Guardian Angels Central Catholic by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Lutheran-Northeast improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Twin River (Genoa, NE) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Twin River won 59-56 in their recent league challenge against Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Guardian Angels Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE).
