Texas High School Basketball - Stafford crushes La Joya
December 2, 2023: Stafford, TX 77477 Stafford Spartans (Stafford, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX), 67-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stafford upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Texas City (Texas City, TX) to clash with the Stingarees in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Stingarees go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Texas City won 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against Clear Creek (League City, TX)
Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Grulla Gators (Rio Grande City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. La Joya will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 55-26 non-league loss to Palmview (La Joya, TX).
