The Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX) basketball crushed the host Caney Creek Panthers (Conroe, TX), 61-37 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Klein (Klein, TX). The Bearkats go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Klein walloped Aldine (Houston, TX), 64-25, in a non-league test.
