Utah High School Basketball - Union can't hold off Manti

December 2, 2023: Roosevelt, UT 84066

The Manti Templars basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Union Cougars to 47 in the Templars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Templars now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grantsville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Manti will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 53-48 non-league win over Cyprus (Magna, UT). The Cowboys record now stands at 4-1.

The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Carbon (Price, UT). The Dinos enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Carbon was nudged by Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT), 67-60, in a non-league contest.
