The St. Johns Country Day Spartans (Orange Park, FL) basketball were winner over the visiting Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders (Jacksonville, FL), 51-39 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Stanton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. St. Johns Country Day will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 44-17 non-league win over KIPP Bold City (Jacksonville, FL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.
