The Daniel Lions basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Palmetto Mustangs to 52 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 21. Daniel will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

The Mustangs (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Collins Hill was routed by Greenwood (Greenwood, SC), 59-49, in a non-league contest.
