The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wayne County Wildcats (Waynesboro, TN) and the visiting Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), observed Wayne County's basketball team overcome Colbert County by a margin of 66-53.

The Wildcats (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntland (Huntland, TN). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Danville Hawks (Danville, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 23. Colbert County will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 57-29 non-league win over Falkville (Falkville, AL).
