South Dakota High School Basketball - Morrill overwhelms Edgemont

The Morrill Lions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Edgemont Moguls to 39 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Mitchell for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Morrill will confront a Tigers team coming off a 45-43 non-league win over Hemingford (Hemingford, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Edgemont falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Moguls host Banner County (Harrisburg, NE) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-5. Banner County lost 64-13 in their recent non-league game against Peetz (Peetz, CO)
