The Veterans Memorial Chargers defeated the visiting Edinburg North Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 56-47 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Chargers clash with the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 28. Veterans Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Bloodhounds come into the outing with a 11-10 record after their 59-25 non-league loss to Weslaco (Weslaco, TX).
