In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ironwood Eagles basketball team scored a good 60-50 triumph over the Fossil Ridge SaberCats.

The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Rancho Cucamonga topped Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA), 83-82, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the SaberCats confront the Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. Fossil Ridge will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 7-1 record after their 74-69 non-league win over Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO).
