The Lovelady Lions basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Slocum Mustangs to 33 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Latexo for a 2A Region III District 20 game on Tuesday, December 31. Lovelady will play a Tigers team coming off a 71-53 league win over Leon (Jewett, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-10.
