The West Ashley Wildcats basketball squad (Charleston, SC), was crushed 59-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

With the victory, Oceanside Collegiate Academy advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Landsharks travel to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC) to meet the Braves in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. The Braves enter the battle with a record of 7-2. Socastee won 45-39 in their recent non-league battle against Cane Bay (Summerville, SC)

The Wildcats now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cathedral Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 21. West Ashley will meet a Generals squad coming off a 69-39 non-league win over Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Generals record now stands at 13-3.
