West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), 55-38 in a league match.

With the victory, West Charlotte upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 9-0. Olympic won 72-63 in their recent non-league match against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)

The Hawks now sport a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carvers Bay for a non-league match on Friday, December 27.
